What Is "MagLab"?

Getting right into it...

The word "MagLab" is short for Magnus' Laboratory.

And so, with that, you can probably already figure out there are going to be experiments.

Actually, a tiny bit of history:

MagLab initially started at the end of 2024. A few days of experimenting in the workshop ...turned into weeks ...which turned into months ...and created all sorts of NEW sliders, slider plates, designs, patterns, finishes and so on.

I was doing 16 hours a day for many weeks on end - and just generally trying loads of new things. I knew it was not sustainable and I could only work at that level of intensity for so long.

I eventually reduced the time I spent on MagLab to something that can continue without me burning-out or going mad(er). As a result, the definition of MagLab also evolved. Initially it was purely for experimental sliders.
Okay, So What Is MagLab Now?
MagLab is three things:

#1 - It is typically fidget sliders that take more work to make than other sliders. Therefor we usually make less of them and (inevitably) they cost more.

#2 - It is a place to experiment with designs that are a bit more "out there" compared to our other sliders.

#3 - We generally make less MagLab sliders ...and are therefor a bit more LIMITED and EXCLUSIVE than other sliders.

Here is a selection of current MagLab sliders we have dropping:
MagLab Card
Because MagLab sliders are typically more exclusive, made in smaller numbers and generally more time-consuming and difficult to make ...they tend to have a higher price point.

This, together with the fact they are usually more experimental in nature, means we include a special MagLab Card with them.

This card serves as a Certificate of Authenticity. And, on a very practical and useful level, list the various features of that specific MagLab (such as model, design, colors, materials, ...and so on).
