"Rainbow" Zirc Plates, "FireAcid" Pens, ...and more! (Blog Post)
New Zirconium Plate Style
These are exactly the same as our usual Zirconium Swiss plates ...but with anodizing in the Swiss pattern.
The function is exactly the same - but fancier-looking. :-)
IMPORTANT: The plates in the above photo are the first ones we've done ...and we've had some "teething issues" with them. But ONLY in terms of aesthetics. These all have some minor blemishes. I really don't want to throw them out because of this ...so I'm going to offer them as *blems* (discounted of course).
The above plates will be put onto MagLab sliders over the next week or so.

"FireAcid" Finish
I used to offer this finish on pens many years ago.
It's a finish offered by other Makers (pen makers, knife makers, etc.) ...so nothing I came up with.
I call it FireAcid ...because it's essentially done with fire (blowtorch) and acid (ferric).
I have put a couple of these pens up on the website already (and they sold fast).
The ones in the image below will be going up soon as well.

Finally snagged a SlideClick off the front page 👏. Really hope I can get a stonewashed hex pen someday. They always sell out instantly.
In regards to the new fidget. The only reason I didn’t buy an Atom is cause I like my Magic Beans so much and found the concept very similar. I probably would buy this new one because I feel bad I missed out on the Atom… but also want to put my word out there to keep working on new stuff! I love the sliders but also love your cool fidgets you’ve made in the past.
