NEW Product Drop Schedule
I worked most of Christmas running the CNC machines (and a few of us were in cleaning, assembling and shipping).
But I did have a couple of days off here and there ...which allowed me to do a bit of thinking (which is maybe a good thing ...maybe not :-P ).
Anyway...
I'm going to experiment dropping Sliders, Fidgets and Pens in larger quantities ...BUT less often. So, instead of just dropping a couple of sliders here and there every few hours, I am planning to set a specific time and LET YOU KNOW IN ADVANCE exactly what is dropping and when.
So, for example, as I type this I'm planning to drop a bunch of Atom fidgets (you should be able to see them on the front page). I'm hoping to have 16 Atoms available. After that I'm hoping to drop a larger amount of Skelly Saddle and Skelly Toad sliders.
For better or for worse, by doing this, there would only be a drop once a week (possibly twice a week but unlikely) for any particular product type.
The main upside is that you will have plenty of warning on when specific products (or materials) will drop. It will take a while to get it up and running smoothly (trying to get stock together, etc.) but I'm going to really trial it fully and see how it goes.

Atom (New Machined Finish)
I know I've probably said this before - but the Atom is my (personal) #1 fidget.
Yes, Sliders are THE most popular product we sell - but purely as my own personal preference the Atom is my choice. And, in fact, we're working on making a Mini-Atom right now (hopefully the first few will come off the machine in the next week or two).
I'm going to start offering some Atoms with a raw, CNC machined finish, Here's a video of what it looks like:
Mokume Gane (Exotic Material)
We finally received the first Mokume Gane material for the Exotic sliders.
I've never used it before. In fact, this is the first time I've seen it in person - it's a lot nicer than I thought it would be (not that I had low expectations ...just that I'm not really a patina metal kinda guy ...but LOADS of people are).
The exotic metal slider is really cool, but I’m really happy to see a lot of Ultem sliders these days. I’m especially looking forward to Skelly Hex with an Ultem body and zirconium plate combination. It’s a great combination, and I’m looking forward to the day that will be dropped someday. :)
Awesome. I think this will allow people to plan and have a fighting chance at getting one instead of having to be glued to your email and wait for the surprise drop or having 10 people trying to cart and buy a single item.
Glad people are finally seeing the value of the atom. It was instantly my wife’s favorite from the jump. With everything I buy and try—that’s saying something. I’m really intrigued by the idea of mini atoms too and hope that still comes to fruition! Thanks for all you do!
